Trip-Tip in the Crockpot – part 2

As expected, Tri-Tip made in the crockpot with Teriyaki sauce turned out perfect! Jasmine rice and green beans made it a complete meal! As the Tri-Tip cooked, it released quite a bit of water. So I took all that liquid, put it in a pot and thickened it with cornstarch. How to do that: add 2 tbs of corn starch to 1 cup of water. Shake it really well and mix it with the sauce. Bring it to a boil, always stirring. Once thickened turn off the heat.
Kids and husband approved. Of course, there is always someone not thrilled about the green beans. He ate them though… or else!!!
By the way… I saved half of that Tri-Tip for tomorrow… wohooooo!
