When I am going to use quinoa in my bread recipe, this is how I’ll cook it:
1 cup quinoa
olive oil
2 cups water
Put the quinoa in a pot and coat it with olive oil.
Turn on the heat and brown the quinoa until golden
Add 2 cups water.
Bring to a boil.
Cover the pot.
Lower the heat.
Let cook for 15 minutes.
Quinoa is done when the water is all gone. It’s ok to peek into the pot before the 15 minutes are over.
